PAST OUTREACH EVENTS
#MissionComplete Today was a good day! We delivered #1600FemaleHygieneBags for the Incarcerated Women at 2 Illinois Prisons, Decatur and Logan. We are grateful for the donations, volunteers that made this project possible and especially to @faithmovers and Rev. Chambers for helping us deliver and drive to the locations.
We are grateful for this opportunity to serve and look forward to serving the ladies again!
🗣 Kicking off #Year2 of BAG Lady Outreach this weekend by #Serving! Today our friends and the residents of Thornwood House in University Park received a special delivery of #400 #PPEBags and #PaperTowelANDTissueBags!
We picked up #PromotingHealthyHygieneHabitsBags from our friends of the Chicago Windy City Lions Club and LaGrange Highlands Lions Club! We are so grateful for their support!
For our Juneteenth outreach, we purchased these personal fans for each bag to add something special! Glad to hear from a client that the fan was the bomb and that it came with batteries! Her excitement made us smile and confirmed why we love what we do! The small things matter...now, we're looking for more personal fans! #SpreadingKindness

We were excited as we celebrated NationalIceCreamDay with the community! We served Love with bag lunches, organic candy, Promoting Healthy Habits Bags, and assorted ice cream! 🥰 Grateful for our friends at a local food pantry that is open to the community on Sunday that allowed us to partner and serve! 🥰

"I had a friend ask about outreach efforts for the families affected by the recent tornadoes in Mayfield, Ky. I've been busy with Toys For Tots and knew my capacity was limited. However, I wanted to support and even moreso after hearing Yesinia story on the news!
So, I reached out, followed-up and called in a few favors and BAG Lady Outreach was able to donate the most needed things of Feminine Hygiene and Hygiene items! Thanks to my friends at the Chicago Police Dept. that came and helped unload the van! We met, took pics, and chatted with folks who were strangers but now our are friends!"

🗣 We did it all today #SpreadingChristmasKindness for the BAG Lady Outreach 3rd Annual Toys for Tots Distribution! We are so #Grateful for the support - this outreach opportunity has a lot of moving parts and we did it! Thanks again to our donors, volunteers and Faith Movers Church!
In total for this year we served 62 families/households and 204 kids! We also surprised the families today with a $50 Gift Card for groceries as well as a Gingerbread House for the families to decorate! 🤗
Our CEO and Founder, Archana Liggins is so grateful for the opportunity that we had to send 43 BAG Lady Outreach’s #PromotingHealthyHygieneHabits bags to 50 organizations across the United States. The total of 2,150 bags included a face mask, hand sanitizer packs, and a pack of pocket tissue and were created by our amazing volunteers due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
We asked the receiving organization to If possible, to:
1.Take pics of the package, contents, yourself, and your location.
2. Post to Social Media and tag BAG Lady Outreach on Instagram and Facebook.
3. Smile and know that you are #SpreadingKindness and being a #BAGLadyOutreachFairy for BAG Lady Outreach's #BLO50StatesProject
We were so excited as we received the social media tags and thanks from the organizations as well as even hearing from clients who received the bags.
This was one of the largest outreach events that we have done and to do it across the country was a bonus!
2,150 people were impacted by our efforts and we are grateful for the receiving organizations for sharing and participating in our 2020 #BLO50StatesProject!
